Step Up MCR are proud to be involved with the following local projects in our community.

Care Kits were lovingly created by local resident Maureen Evans. These kits are suitable for those who have recently experienced cancer treatment or may be immunocompromised.
Since its establishment in 1928, Belle Vue Aces Speedway in Gorton has earned global recognition.
Beswick Urban Growers community garden (BUG) is a community project dedicated to growing organic food, and sharing that knowledge with the people of East Manchester.
Break the Mute works with BAME residents in underprivileged and underrepresented communities in Manchester through various health and wellbeing projects.
Positive Media Company CIC specializes in podcast production, helping local businesses, charities, and community groups share their stories, connect with audiences, and amplify their impact.
Ancoats Run Club is a free, community led running group in Ancoats, open to all abilities. ARC offers daily group runs with varied distances and paces.
Ancoats Visual Arts (AVA) is a vibrant mixed media arts and crafting group connecting residents of Ancoats & Beswick.
Max Trax is a community-led cycling hub putting Openshaw on the map.
Founded and chaired by Beswick resident and coach Paul Downing, Beswick Community Football Club (Beswick CFC) proudly holds the distinction of being the first FA-affiliated football club in North Manchester.
