We are Step Up MCR

Step Up MCR is the charity unleashing the unlimited potential of people living and working in North Manchester.

Through the power of local giving, we grow community health and wellbeing projects making a real difference to people’s lives so that everybody feels happy, healthy and at home in our city.

Our aim is to build more sustainable and resilient community organisations by making the most of the people and resources in our places.

We recognise that anybody can step up to make a difference by investing their money, time, energy, resources or skills in their local community.

We can get the wheels turning on brilliant big ideas, offering the funding and fundraising support, volunteer links, access to opportunities, development and capacity building and promotion that community organisations need to thrive.

Step Up MCR ran and match funded our Crowdfunder campaign in 2022 which raised £39,236 and is the main reason we have been able to sustain our organisation to date.
