The M-Wagon Returns to East Manchester

Do you have a BIG DREAM for your community? The M-Wagon is now here to get the wheels turning on your ideas!

In 2019, local artist Mark Jermyn created the cycle-powered chat room, designed for Step Up MCR to tour our local areas and get chatting to our neighbours.

Sadly, the M-Wagon has been gathering dust in storage over lockdown, but we're now gearing up to get back on the road!

With hope on the horizon as lockdown restrictions ease, we'll shortly be touring around Ancoats & Beswick and Clayton & Openshaw to start up conversations out and about in your neighbourhood.

Come say hello if you spot us in your street, park, or local shopping centre! We'd love to chat about your ideas for the community.

The M-Wagon's Journey to Clayton

Mark has journeyed from the M-Wagon's temporary resting place in Salford, over to its new home at The Resonance Centre in Clayton!

The M-Wagon toured some of Manchester's famous landmarks en route, gathering interested crowds in Media City, St. Peter's Square, Piccadilly Gardens, New Islington Marina and the Manchester City Stadium.

We're so excited to see what's in store next for the M-Wagon, and can't wait to chat to you about your dreams and ambitions for the local area.

Thank you to Mark Jermyn, Islington Mills and Salford Makers for all of their hard work. We'd also like to say huge thank you to The Resonance Centre for providing the M-Wagon with a new home in Clayton.
