Beswick CFC's Paul Downing wins Community Sports Coach of the Year 2022

We couldn't be prouder of Step Up MCR's Paul Downing for winning Community Coach of the Year Award at the Manchester Sports Awards 2022!

Paul works tirelessly for his community running @pdcoaching_ and Beswick's first community football club @beswickcfc, all alongside his full time job.

Paul and his fantastic team coach 150 young people across North & East Manchester every week who otherwise wouldn't have the opportunity to get involved in the sport.

Paul says "thank you so, so much for everything you have done and continue to do to support me on the amazing coaching journey! The work that you do is amazing and I like to think I am living evidence or a testament to all your hard work."
