Team Away Day 2023

Our team gathered in the vibrant neighbourhood of Ancoats for an action-packed day dedicated to mapping out our charity's future. Our away day gives us a fantastic opportunity to connect, swap ideas, and share stories, including those from our own backyard, like Anthony, who hails from Ancoats and spent 20 years working in the old Express Building (now our office)! We also participated in a Wildflower Seed Bomb Workshop, demonstrating how our community newspaper can be repurposed after use.

The support we've received from the Step Up MCR family throughout our journey over the past three years has been incredible. We are bursting with excitement as we look ahead to the next three years and beyond, thanks to the Reaching Communities grant from The National Lottery Community Fund. Watch this space!
