A Look Back At Our Dream Big Beswick Event

We dreamed big in Beswick!
We are delighted to share the incredible success of our Dream Big Beswick Event that took place this Summer.
An extraordinary celebration of our community, the event’s success owes all to the dedication of our brilliant community and residents, whose hard work and collaboration made the day one to remember. Thank you to everyone who made this event possible, with a special shout-out to Phil from MC2 for generously volunteering his time to photograph the best moments.
Our Step Up MCR family curated bespoke wellbeing activities for the event. The day featured a diverse range of artistic workshops, enlightening educational activities, captivating live performances, sports activities for all ages, delicious food and refreshments, invigorating wellness sessions, and so much more.
The day was made extra special by the creative touch of Handmade Productions, who transformed The East Manchester Academy field into a magical festival and parade space. Stilt-walking unicorns, flying bird puppets, vibrant giant flags, and many more beautiful handmade creations added an unforgettable touch to the day.
Beyond the joy, the event offered the perfect opportunity for residents to connect with fellow community members, sparking many brilliant ideas that Step Up MCR will be taking forward.
